Meet Mowgli - our new 5 month old Shepherd Cross.
He was transferred to us from another shelter with his brother, Baloo. They had been brought to the other shelter when they were around eight weeks old. Two workers at a dump had witnessed them being abandoned with the trash and rescued them.
Both boys are very timid for the time being. They had been in a foster home with the other rescue and had done wonderfully, but when they were brought back to the shelter the regressed and became very timid.
Mow is the shyer of the two boys, often cowering in the back of the kennel or in his dog house. Once you convince him to snuggle in your arms he completely melts into your chest. Mowgli will need a lot of patience and love in his new home.
Because they're so shy, it would be greatly recommended for these boys to attend Socialization and obedience classes. Once they come out of their shells and learn that this world isn't as scary as they seem, these boys will make wonderful additions to the right home. We will keep you updated on their progress!
