Smaug

Smaug thought the camera would make a good toy and whacked the lens, leading to the whole camera smacking me in the face. He's lucky he's so darn adorable.

Brandy

Brandy was officially adopted today after being with us for 4 years and 8 months. He was a very special guy who had been with us since birth. He was our "Mr. Mom" who tried to raise kittens. He was the leader of our cat room and always took care of the other cats. He is now happy living in a home with his new brother, Nemo.

NWT Dogs

Last Saturday we got in 5 surprises. We had 5 dogs transferred to us from the NWT, Betty, Wilma, Bam Bam, Pebbles and Dino. They are completely adorable, sweet and loving.

Daffy and Taffy

Daffy and Taffy were surrendered together and they are best friends. They are always together, sleep together, cuddle and play together. They are really hoping to find their purrfect furrever home together, too. They both do wonderful with other cats and love all people. Jennie

Jennie is a 8 year old rough collie cross. She was surrendered. As you can tell, she is severely overweight. Right now, she is about 50-60 pounds overweight. As our volunteers know, we've been pushing her to get many 5 minute walks a day. We are very happy to say that she has been sent to a foster home where she can get help tolose the pounds! Jennie weighs 115 pounds. She'll be going for her 2 week week weigh-in on Monday. Hopefully she's already lost weight!

Noah

Noah was adopted and recently had a haircut. He is super handsome and looks so different!

April (Now Sunny)

I know a lot of you are wondering, and as you can see, April (Now named Sunny) is doing AWESOME in her foster home in lethbridge. She is with Windy City Canine Rescue (http://www.windycityrescue.com/Welcome.html) and they are way too amazing to us. And more good news.. She has an adoption application on her! Way to go, Sunny!

Cobbles

Cobbles is still looking for her forever home! She LOVES belly rubs and will do anything for treats. Her favorite activities include running in her wheel and sleeping in anything comfy.

Paiva

Poor Paiva had her cast changed today, and her arm was infected. :( The girls at the vet thought a hot pink splint and some décor would cheer her up.
