Cricket was a little Min Pin who was brought into us in July of 2009 - her family had moved and left her behind. She was skin and bones, had a skin infection and was not socialized with people.

After lots of work, love and care Cricket was adopted into a wonderful, patient home. It took her two months of love and encouragement before she'd even leave her kennel - and now she's a wonderful, social pup who will even say hi to strangers.

Kittens

Right now we have lots of kittens at the shelter, all looking for furrever homes! There's more than what is pictured. Come by and take a look!

Meet Raina - our New 1 year old Pit Bull mix. She was just transferred to us on Saturday.

Raina is very friendly - she LOVES being around people and receiving attention. Raina has done fabulous with all the dogs she has met so far. She's played with Greyhounds, Labradors and Staffordshire Bull Terriers.

Raina has done wonderful with all the people she has met so far - Men, women and children. She has yet to meet a person she doesn't like. Raina gets excited when she firsts meet you, but she quickly calms down and, if wanted, she will go off and do her own thing.

Raina seems very eager to learn. Raina does need some work on her obedience and manners. She would excel at obedience and behavioral classes - and it would be a wonderful opportunity for you to bond.

She is a big love - she loves snuggling into you and giving big kisses. She's playful and full of life. For more information on adoption, please visit http://www.bapsociety.com/Adopting_a_Pet.html

Luke

Our new big boy, Luke, has just made his way down from Calgary! He was transferred on the 16th.

Luke is a 4 year old Basset hound. He's sweet and full of love. Luke loves Sutffies, Car Rides and walks. And boy, does he ever need some walks! Luke is 83 pounds right now and on a diet and exercise plan.

Luke knows how to sit, roll-over, crawl, speak, spin and Shake-a-paw. He is house trained and LOVES to go camping. Reportedly, Luke is timid around men and children, but this has yet to be tested. As far as we can tell, he's a giant love!

Roxi Roller

Roxi Roller really likes dandelions.

She, really, really likes them.

She likes them so much, in fact, that she will spends lots of time just picking them out of the grass. She's hoping you'll decide to take her home with you so she can help you de-weed your garden (As long as you don't mind little chucks of Dandelion all over your lawn).

Roxi is still searching for her furrever home. For more information on Roxi, please visit http://www.petfinder.com/petdetail/19582205 .

Grumpy, Happy, Bashful, Sneezy and Sleepy

Today we had a litter of 5 kittens brought in. A lady had found them in a box next to the road. They're sweet, about 3 weeks old and very scared. They're skinny, dirty and slightly sick. They ate a big meal, played and then went right to sleep!
They're going to be in a loving foster home with children until they're old enough to go to their furrever homes. Yay for love and socialization! If you're interested in adoption one of these sweet boys, please contact the shelter.
